Ways To Volunteer

There’s no experience required to volunteer at Saturday Hoops – just show up! In every activity our volunteers look into our kids’ eyes and see the GOOD in them. We have a wide variety of activity areas to serve in, including:

  • Physical Activities: Get active with our kids at basketball stations and drills, general fitness games, and yoga
  • Creative Expression: Help with arts and crafts, play music, and teach dance
  • Knowledge And Inspiration: Read to and with children, lead the morning devotion or group huddle, give an inspirational talk for five to seven minutes

Interested in volunteering? Show up to a Saturday Hoops Session or contact Cam Lane @ 859.907.1754

Provide And Serve Lunch

This is a great opportunity for business, church, social and neighborhood groups-and families! We need groups to bring and serve a hot lunch for 150 kids. Our kids are not “picky” and appreciate a meal after a morning full of activity.

CYC Mentoring Opportunity

We are now a program of Cincinnati Youth Collaborative, so we can better connect potential mentors with potential mentees before making a match. If one of our volunteers hits it off with a youth, CYC can help make that match happen. As a result, Saturday Hoops serves as a built-in mentor/mentee activity. To learn more about CYC mentoring, visit the CYC website.

Encourage A Child

You have the power to enrich a child’s life simply by sharing a few hours with them in fun and enriching activities. Questions about volunteering as an individual or a group? Give Saturday Hoops a call at 513-363-5200.
